Israel claims it has lost 600 soldiers since October 7

The Israeli military reported the death of a soldier in the Gaza Strip on April 1st, bringing the total number of soldiers’ deaths to 600, according to Asharq Al-Awsat and agencies.
Nadav Cohen, 20 year-old Israeli soldier is the last of the 600 soldiers who died in the Strip since October 7th.
The war was sparked by Hamas’ surprise attack on October 7th in southern Israel. Israel’s response has now killed at least 32,782 Palestinians and displaced 90 percent of the population in southern Gaza. Moreover, the Israeli army declared to have killed over 13,000 Hamas fighters.

Despite receiving great international support from powerful allies like the US, the Israeli military has faced hostilities from militias such as Hezbollah.
As a matter of fact, on December 5th, the Lebanese militant group claimed to have injured around 2,000 Israeli soldiers since the beginning of the conflict
