Palestinian lawyer put in isolation once more

A Palestinian human rights lawyer was placed in solitary confinement on February 19, Al Jazeera reported.
Diala Ayesh, 28, who was arrested at a checkpoint in the north of Bethlehem, situated in the illegally occupied West Bank, and has been put in isolation for the second time since her arrest on January 17.
Human rights groups have recently noted that around 8,000 Palestinian prisoners, the overwhelming majority of whom were wrongfully detained, are currently languishing in Israeli jails.
Al Jazeera
