UN chief is “deeply alarmed” by Israel’s Gaza resettlement plan

As Israel continues its brutal aggression on Gaza and insists on Gaza resettlement plan, the UN is alarmed and presses for a permanent ceasefire.
On January 12, the U.N. aid chief said he was “deeply alarmed” by Israeli ministers’ declarations about “plans to encourage the mass transfer” of Palestinian civilians from the Gaza Strip to other countries and he called for a permanent ceasefire.

“Unless we act, it will become an indelible mark on our humanity,” Martin Griffiths, the U.N. undersecretary for humanitarian affairs, told the UN Security Council. “I reiterate my call for this council to take urgent action to bring this war to an end.”
