EU announces 900 million Euro aid package for Jordan

The European Union announced a 900 million Euro aid package for Jordan on November 7, reports The National. 

The lucrative assistance deal was unveiled during the Middle Eastern country’s King Abdullah II’s visit to Brussels where he met the President of the EU Commission Ursula Von der Leyen. 

The European Commission chief noted that, “The EU is a strong friend and partner of Jordan and our co-operation spans many areas, from culture to water management, from refugee support to education and training.”.
