Israeli President “not looking for confrontation” with Hezbollah

Israel has said that it is not seeking a war with Lebanese militants Hezbollah, instead keeping close attention to Hamas, reports Sky News UK. 

On October 24, Israel’s President Isaac Herzog met with Emmanuel Macron in Jerusalem. 

During the meeting with his French counterpart, Herzog noted that, “I want to make clear, we are not looking for a confrontation on our northern border or with anyone else … But if Hezbollah drags us into a war, it should be clear that Lebanon will pay the price,” .
