Russian FM warns that Gaza conflict could become regional
Russia’s Foreign Minister addressed the serious risk of the Gaza conflict becoming regional on October 19, reports Interfax.
The Russian minister, Sergei Lavrov also said that he was in close contact with Turkey regarding the matter and claimed that blaming Iran, who back Palestinian militant group Hamas, was a provocation.
Lavrov arrived in North Korea on October 19 to attempt to strengthen ties with the dictatorial Asian country.
