Saudi Arabia attempts to ease tensions in Middle East

The Saudi Prince said that the country was doing everything to stop the escalation of tensions between Israel and Hamas, reports Middle East Online, October 11.
Earlier this month, Hamas, a militant Palestinian group backed by Iran, attacked Israel’s southern flank from the blockaded Gaza Strip.
The unprecedented attack killed thousands of people as Israel continues to retaliate.
Whilst on a phone call with Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud stressed that the kingdom would make tireless efforts to stop the ongoing conflict.
The prince added that Israel must stop its attack on Gaza, emphasising his support for the Palestinian cause.
